How Much CBD Oil Should I Take?
Updated: Jan 26

CBD is a form of personalized medicine and may require trial and error until you find the right dosage suited for you. The great thing about experimenting with CBD oil is that its incredibly low-risk with no known side effects.
Before we dive, lets go over the basics.
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, most commonly referred to as CBD, is a molecular compound found in cannabis plants that is 100% non-intoxicating, unlike THC. Over the past few decades pre-clinical and some human trial studies on CBD have found that it can be helpful for the following
Inflammation
Pain
Anxiety
Stress
Sleep
Studies have shown that CBD is very tolerable in the human body and a single dosage can range from 5 milligrams of CBD to 100 milligrams. Many factors should be considered when it comes to your CBD dosage, these factors include but aren't limited to, the severity of your issue, body weight and diet.

*CBD use is subjective to each body - factors like composition, diet, fitness & environment can affect your experience. This chart contains generalized suggestions on CBD dosages based on feedback provided by CBD consumers.
All of the oils come with a 1ml dropper, it is best to start with 0.5ml and increase your dosage until you find your desired relief. If you are taking CBD capsules or edibles, start with 1 piece and increase it to two pieces, if needed.
CBD can be taken 1-3 times daily and it is best to take it at least once a day, for optimal results.
CBD is considered “biphasic” which means you can experience different effects based on the dosage taken and your endocannabinoid system. For example, it’s been reported that small CBD doses can cause wakefulness, medium doses can cause a calming effect, while large doses can be sedative, however it differs from person to person. We recommend keeping notes so you can observe and achieve the right dosage unique to you.
